Total Time 50 minutes
Servings: 4 wraps

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • as needed nacho cheese sauce
  • 4 large flour tortillas 10-inch
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups Doritos or tortilla chips crushed
  • 2 cups fresh lettuce shredded
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • as needed butter or oil for pan-frying
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it apart as it cooks, about 8-10 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add taco seasoning and water to the beef, stirring well. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the mixture is fragrant and coats the beef well.
  3. Lay one large flour tortilla flat on a cutting board. In the center, layer nacho cheese sauce, seasoned beef, cheddar, crushed Doritos, lettuce, tomato, and sour cream.
  4. Fold the tortilla like an envelope: fold the left side over the filling, then the right side, then fold up the bottom to create a square shape.
  5. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with butter or oil. Place the Crunchwrap seam-side down in the hot skillet.
  6. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden and crispy. Carefully flip and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes until golden.
  7. Transfer to a plate and serve hot. The cheese will continue to melt from residual heat.

Notes

Don't overfill or they'll be hard to seal. Pan-fry in butter for extra crispiness.
